Abbink X De Haas architectures was founded in 2008 when the former practices of Abbink and De Haas joined forces. De X in our name represents this fusion and multiplication of expertise, experience and talent.

 Our core activities focus on design & research in the field of architecture and urban planning. Other activities that we pursue on a regular basis include art, product development, interior design, landscape design and education.

 Our work method focuses on both process and product. All our assignments share an integral approach; analytical, technical, methodical and conceptual. All the various preconditions are mapped and a continuous dialogue is held with our advisors, users, authorities and clients.

 Our practice is located in Amsterdam and has 12 staff members with both Dutch and international backgrounds.
